Volunteering
Falls ambassadors
Falls Ambassadors are volunteers who are interested in falls prevention and raising awareness of services that will help reduce falls risk.
This is an opportunity to take an active role in the “Stepping Forward Together” project and to help shape the projects future.

Falls Ambassadors:

-
Enjoy meeting new people
-
Are happy to speak to groups
-
Have a positive and empathetic
towards difficulties experienced
by others
-
Can be available 3-4 times a year

As an ambassador you will work with a colleague and be supported by health professionals as you visit community groups across Aberdeen. You will have the support of a group of ambassadors who will meet 4-5 times a year and also a contact who will help with any queries.

Other volunteering opportunities
As well as ambassadors we need people who are happy to support our work in other ways. We have a website and a Facebook page that need keeping up to date. We also need people with administrative skills. If you have a skill that you feel we may be able to use and you want to volunteer to help, please get in touch and tell us about it.
